Madkoor abo el 3ez

Once upon a time, back in 1967, few days after the worst defeat in history of Egypt, a man took control of the Egyptian Air Force; his name was madkoor abo el 3ez

The man then analyzed the situation of his troops, gathered as much as possible of the planes left, some planes arrived from neighbor countries

The man then realized that ismailia is in great danger, actually the whole line of Suez canal was in a horrible danger of the Israeli troops cross the canal in any moment to destroy what is left there of the Egyptian army

The man took the decision based on responsibility , he made an air strike, the most successful one in history of Egypt, with about 40 planes only, attacked Israeli ground forces, killed so many, and delayed them to settle in there for a few more months

The man was forced to quit a few months later, the news of this air strike was never published, the man was deleted from all history pages, but history never forget

They didn’t even let us know his name as in that very critical moment after the defeat, to let us accept the losers, no hero should appear on the scene, even if they have to put him in prison like what happened with many others after this war

God have mercy on his soul, I say to him, we love you & if history forgets, your people never forget

Egypt, or what is left of it !!!!!!!!

Once upon a time, more than 4 years ago, I was speaking with a friend of mine about immigration to canada, he was about to leave in a few months, I asked him with an innocent smile : When will you return ?

Him : why should I ?

Me : won't you return back ever to egypt ?

Him: my dear, 10 years from now, there will be no Egypt.

Accident 2

Hi, it is me back again :)

Just a crazy man would come to write something here while he has his final exams two days from now, ok, crazy is just another name for me :)

I am going to tell you some funny facts about the accident I had a few weeks ago, you know I was hit by a car a few weeks ago, now lets tell you some funny stories

  • The car came from the left side of the street, went to the right, i had a friend of mine walking to my left so the car was about to hit him, as you know I am a very luck guy, so the car left him and went more to the right that it was just about to hit the cars on the side of the street, and hit me
  • after the car hit me it did a strange thing, it took me back on its front to the left side of the street again :)
  • my friend tell me I looked so funny flying with my legs up in the air, then falling on the front of the car before falling in the street on front of the car again, I can't confirm that as All I saw was : sky, sky, sky, road, wheels, feet ..
  • the most pupular comment I heared from the people gathered after the accident is : why did this man try to kill you ? all what was in their minds is that was meant to kill me on purpose and not just a hit and run accident, can they be right ??
  • the most funny view of the accident was right after it, people were running to call ambulance, police, gathering to check if the man -me I guess- is still a life, when the dead man stood up quickly and started to run ON FOOT to catch the car :) (didn't i tell you I am crazy !!)
  • I went home to my house, talked to my brother, then my mom arrived, I told her I was hit by a car and she said : " tell me where is the iron (el makwah)"
  • in the hospital , in the emergency section, one doctor only was working at that time, with 3 patients waitting for him, one of them is a kid that lost her finger in an accident and need immidate help, but the man wasn't there (oh my god).

Ok, That is all for now, I will return back to study, it is my frist exam , electronics so see you later then

Simple test (Edited)

This is a story about a girl.

While at the funeral of her own mother, she met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much the dream guy that she was searching for that she fell in love with him immediately.
However, she never asked for his name or number and afterward could not find anyone who knew who he was.
A few days later the girl killed her own sister.
Question: Why did she kill her sister?

Answer: She reasoned that if the guy appeared at her mother's funeral, then he might appear another family funeral.
If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by a famous American psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in this test and answered correctly.

Of course this test is not valid alone,Actually, it is not valid at all and it is more like a joke now, different sources talk about this test, some believe it and some say it is all just a lie(I believe it is just a lie).
Many killers don't think that silly way unless they have a very low IQ (which is in many cases not true) , so don't get upset if you got to the answer from the first look, that just means you are smart, I got the answer from the start too :-(

ok, here is a link for the page I found this test on (this site say it is a lie, anothe one say it is true and have been used many times) :

Responsibility follow up

Today, I am going to tell you first a short story.

As you know, I teach C++ each year in the faculty, I have been doing so since 3 years now, but this year things were different

It is my final year, the joy of being a student and being instructor will be over, also at the beginning of the year many ideas in my mind changed and on the overall; this year had to be a unique one

I didn’t know what made me feel responsible of those students, I prepared the labs, reserved them, made the time table, printed it, announced it, talked to their Prof.

I contacted other instructors, and gave many extra labs to fell in the space of absent instructors, I gave labs that lasted over double its time, teach many things out of the current scope.

I finally had a long talk with them about how to improve the faculty, how to be better in prog and in engineering (I am not good at all in my field, E I meanL)

Ok, that is what happened, you have to note that I am not a good man by nature; I don’t do that everyday, so I recently stopped to ask myself, what for?

I understood at that time that position and laws are not what identify your responsibility, it is what you can do to help.

I believe you are responsible of each minute you could do a good deed in, each advice you could give, and each help you can provide.

Sometimes change looks hard, but it is always possible, and even if you feel you can’t make it by your own (I can’t change what happens in the faculty, at least not anymore), at least make others understand what is going on, give them advice about how they can act, do your best to make them move in the right direction

Why did I do that?

I believe I wished someone would help me see the way, but no one did!!

Can we understand that our responsibility is not only to do our work, but to do all we can do? Hope we get it one day!!

friendship

I found this poem on my friend Lemna blog, I liked it and decided to repeat the post here (hope she don't get upset) :

The day I met you
I found a friend -
And a friendship that
I pray will never end.

Your smile - so sweet
And so bright -
Kept me going
When day was as dark as night.

You never ever judged me,
You understood my sorrow.
Then you told me it needn't be that way
And gave me the hope of a better tomorrow.

You were always there for me,
I knew I could count on you.
You gave me advice and encouragement
Whenever I didn't know what to do.

You helped me learn to love myself
You made life seem so good.
You said I can do anything I put my mind to
And suddenly I knew I could.

There were times when we didn't see eye to eye
And there were days when both of us cried.
But even so we made it through:
Our friendship hasn't yet died.

Circumstances have pulled us apart,
We are separated by many miles.
Truly, the only thing that keeps me going
Is my treasured memory of your smile.

This friendship we share
Is so precious to me,
I hope it grows and flourishes
And lasts unto infinity.

You are so extra-special to me
And so this to you I really must tell:
You are my one true friend,
My Guardian Angel.

Our friendship is one-in-a-million
So let's hold on to it and each other.
We cannot let this chance of pure bliss fly away
For there will never be another. Ode To My True Friend

Responsibility

I was thinking of writing in this topic, but after a while, I decided to make it a free discussion topic.

The question is yours now, what are the limits of your responsibility?

Believe me, it is terrorism!!

Everyday we read about Palestine, we never turn to think about the legacy of what they do everyday

First, I know what I am going to say in the next few lines will mostly get most of you mad, most of you will think that I am crazy or stupid, but please be patient until I end my words and we will see

I think that those who commit operations (most of them not all) in Israel and the Jewish settlements are just terrorists, why do I say so?

First, they most of the time attack civilians, the don’t discriminate between children, women, and regular soldiers, they place the bomb without thinking once for who will get hurt by it

Second, let’s consider that rocket issue, how can they make sure those rockets will not land on a school or a hospital, or a normal family?

May be settlements are not legal, may be they should be removed, but sure that is not a reason to kill a single child that lives in there!!

You may start arguing that they have chosen to live in the settlement and so they chose war, but how can you take children by the guilt of their parents???

A few months ago, I was watching TV and I saw a show talking about a girl that blow her self up in Israel, they all the time tried to make me feel sorry for her, and I really did, but now let me list few facts for you

• The girl was working with a medical organization; the occupation now takes her act as a reason for attacking ambulance in Ghaza.

• The girl blow her self up in a 70 years old man that most of his live was against settlements and war.

I don’t want you to misunderstand me, I still feel sorry for her, but I can’t agree with her, what she did was very wrong, she can’t convince me that this was her only choice, and even if that was true , and if she was that hopeless she should never act better than act in the wrong way

Finally, if a man come and kill your little child, what will you do?
Kill the man, or kill his child, when you answer that question, you will understand what I am talking about!!

I am not against your right to defend your country with all LEGAL ways, according to any religion or law, killing civilians is never LEGAL and can never be explained!!

Arna, we respect you!!

As a respect letter to a woman that I have great feelings to her, I decided to write her short story

Arna, a woman born in Poland –I think, I can’t remember- from a very Jewish family, after the Second World War, immigrated to Israel.

When she arrived, she found that they don’t have a country yet, she was young and active, tricked by the words of the Jewish organization, and she joined one of them.

For the few years later, she became one of the organization officers, and then she left them when Israel was finally founded after the war of 1948.

Years passed, the young girl turned into a grown woman, started to understand the truth of what was going around her, she then married a Christian Palestinian, then she became a Christian herself, she never had kids till her husband died.

This woman has founded an organization to take care of the Palestinian children , for several years, she became the mother of those children, she didn’t teach them to love Israel, on the contrary, she teacher them the meaning of their land, and how to defend what they believe in

Arna died of cancer a few years ago, none of her Palestinian children could attend her funeral as they were prevented from entering Israel.

When she was asked if she regrets the early days of her life, she said” no! I was building my country, I didn’t know about the crimes done, and I never killed anyone”

Her children now are artists, engineers, fighters , they all remember her, they all love her, I remember her too, and have all respect to a soul that could cross the walls of language , religion, country and even hatred for a thing she strongly believed in, God mercy her soul!!

Different!!

I speak Arabic
You speak English
She speaks French

I am a Muslim
You are a Christian
She is a Jew

I love Fairoz
You love metallica
She loves the Beatls

We are different, aren’t we?

When I look around me, I discover that we don’t accept different as we should, we all the time build walls that don’t really exist between us, just because we are different

Up to now, we can’t understand that god created us different to enrich life, different minds, different souls lead to different thoughts, beliefs and Ideas

All religions ask us to love each other, no matter how different we are!!

Can you accept others as they are, not as you want them to be?

Can you accept man with his thoughts and respect them as your own?

This is the test you should put to your self, no one else will help you, it is just you and the truth, and can you stand it?

The experiment

Last Saturday, I made the last important lab test for the hardware I made in my graduation project; it was a very nice experience that I want to talk about it

In the last 5 years, the only time I could really find pleasure in was the lab time, it was a very rare time, small and may be not effective but I still love it.

In the lab, I have that feeling that I am in a holy place, it gives me strange feeling of respect, no jokes, no laugh, just being serious and focus.

last Saturday, The test was to send a signal on the power lines and receive them from another socket, analyze the results, just like usual, I spent about an hour revising all protection parts in the circuit, then spent another hour trying to know why there is no output on the screen before I found out that the oscilloscope is not working!!

ok, at last I managed to view the result, I thought, why didn't they give us a lab to view such result while we were learning multipath fading, the output was exactly a typical response for multipath channel that I thought if I had a camera, I would have taken a photo for this response to include in the project report.

Although I picked up a very hard graduation project, but I don't regret that! Working in the lab is my best time, and my graduation project is hardware with DSP work (which is C++ code with assembly), which makes the perfect combination of tasks I may ever dream of :-)
